Identity, collateral, and proposed web redesign for Barefoots Joe, a coffee shop and venue.
Named after a former President of Union University, Dr. Hyran Barefoot, I created the identity as a way to pay homage to Dr. Barefoot as well create a new flexible logo mark. Dr. Barefoot was notorious for always wearing a bow tie, and even bought bow ties for the staff of Barefoots Joe. My concept was based around bow ties; which played out in several fun ways, such as using a die cut window in the business card to allow some one to "wear" a bow tie.
In addition to print collateral, I had the opportunity to hand craft physical objects: a menu board, a listening station for featured musical artists, and traditional light-up signage that displayed the logo.
